Dr. Deeba Chaudri has been practicing Optometry for over 15 years. Dr. Deeba Chaudri has been practicing Optometry for over 15 years. Her experience includes practicing full scope optometry with a specialized emphasis on contact lens fittings, including specialty fits and multifocal/bifocal contact lenses. She is also trained in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease and infections and the treatment of dry eyes. Dr. Chaudri was the Regional Director of Eyecare for Lenscrafters from 2008-2011. She supervised and trained 34 optometrists to provide cutting edge quality of care to our patients. Dr. Chaudri received a Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry and a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. Dr. Chaudri was recently featured as an Eye Expert on the Dr. OZ television show. You can view her appearance here . She has also been featured in the Health.com article titled “9 Mistakes that Mess with Your Eyes”, which you can read here , was featured in “Review of Optometry/Women in Optometry” here and has also appeared in “Prevention Magazine”. Dr. Kus has special interest in primary eye care and specialty contact lens. Dr. Emily Kus completed the Primary Eye Care Residency through the State University of New York College of Optometry, where she expanded her clinical knowledge by rotating through a wide variety of specialty clinics. She gained exposure to both adult and pediatric patients, patients requiring contact lens care, diagnosis of binocular vision anomalies, diagnosis, management and treatment of glaucoma, retinal disease, and emergency eye care needs. Dr. Emily Kus received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Miami and her Doctor of Optometry degree at the State University of New York College of Optometry. During her time at SUNY Optometry, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Kus completed the Primary Eye Care Residency through the State University of New York College of Optometry, where she expanded her clinical knowledge by rotating through a wide variety of specialty clinics. She gained exposure to both adult and pediatric patients, patients requiring contact lens care, diagnosis of binocular vision anomalies, diagnosis, management and treatment of glaucoma, retinal disease, and emergency eye care needs. In practice, Dr. Kus has special interest in primary eye care and specialty contact lens. In her free time Dr. Kus enjoys attending concerts, playing tennis, and going to yoga classes.

Dr. Lauren Strawn

Dr. Strawn specializes in pediatrics and vision rehabilitation. Originally from Chicago, Dr. Lauren Strawn has been practicing in the tristate area since 2015. Dr. Strawn graduated magna cum laude from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from The State University of New York College of Optometry. Having elected to pursue a residency in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation, in order to further advance her knowledge in this area of Optometric Care, Dr. Strawn earned the Dr. Brock Memorial Award for outstanding clinical performance in Vision Therapy. Dr. Strawn’s clinical involvement, both in the private practice setting and academic field, has provided her with extensive experience in treating the visual needs of and providing neuro-rehabilitative therapy to patients with strabismus, visual processing deficits, and binocular vision disorders. She is also proficient in treating patients with various special needs, including those individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Dr. Strawn has presented her research on binocular vision at the American Academy of Optometry and College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD) annual conferences, and has lectured as a continuing education speaker to fellow Optometrists. Dr. Strawn is an actively involved member of the American Optometric Association and the COVD.
